Images With Soul – Tribes of Africa

Last year we felt pretty humbled when renowned National Geographic photographer Cristina Mittermeier (@mitty) and portrait photographer Giovanna Aryafara (@giovannaphotography) joined Wild Images on tour in the Omo Valley of Ethiopia.
To travel alongside such accomplished photographers whose humanity and gentleness underpin their every move was an absolute joy.
We are excited to share the news of the release of Giovanna’s book – Images with Soul. This stunning coffee table book features Giovanna’s beautiful images of African people, with a foreword by Cristina. It is devoted to Giovanna’s ‘daughter’ Nalu, a beautiful young Suri girl who is growing up with the most gentle, touching and wise person as her guide in life, alongside her own family in the Omo Valley.
Many of the images in Images With Soul were shot on our 2023 tour to the Omo Valley.
